Directed towards a high-end, no-nonsense clientele, Marrimor Interiors needed a website redesign, including both UX and UI. We opted for an unconventional homepage, complete with a highly visual 50/50 split screen hover effect, so that users can navigate straight into their point of interest. Overlaying this is a subtle yet confident repetition of their logo, animated in the form of a gentle ticker running across screen. Minimal typography, careful art direction and playful hover effects complete this small but punchy site. It was a massive privilege to be able to continue the Marrimor brand.

UX Design, Website Design

Working with irreverent yet luxurious furniture designers Marrimor, we launched their debut website to showcase their non-conformist creations—complete with minimal typography and playful hover effects. All photography featured on the site was concepted and art directed by myself, with a particular effort to juxtapose the elegant and the bold.

The large scale, corporate architecture studio Revery wanted a bespoke, unconventional website to showcase their work. True to their name, Revery encouraged us to create a fanciful, dual-scrolling cascade of imagery for their portfolio, complete with dream-like transitions, airy layout and minimal typography.

Branding and packaging for Fernie Alpine Springs—a kombucha company situated at the edge of the Canadian Rockies. A bold, energetic, vertical logo was created to represent alpine ascension, bubbles of fermentation and a general celebratory feeling. This was then paired with vibrant, abstract, mountainous gradient backgrounds that hint of the refreshing, flavourful beverage inside.

Longview Communications is Canada’s leading independent corporate communications and public affairs firm. Inspired by their direct advice and sound counsel, we created a website with a clear, confident yet calming feel. Airy spacing paired with modern, bold typography integrates with dramatic environmental imagery, exemplifying Longview’s farsighted approach. The sky blue and cool grey gradient brings a fresh and flowing feel to the site, bringing a convicting reassurance to the intended audience.
